The City of Santa Clarita Volunteer Engagement Team is pleased to support local nonprofit organizations by assisting with volunteer recruitment for their projects. We recognize the vital role volunteers play in advancing organizational missions and would be glad to help connect your organization with engaged and interested volunteers.

How to post on our website!

1. Confirm your organization meets the following criteria.
   • • Be an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit
     • The project must take place in the Santa Clarita Valley
     • These posts are for volunteer recruitments, not for donations
2. Fill out the request form below.
3. Please submit your request at least six weeks before your event. Allow one to two weeks for our team to review your request. If approved, your opportunity will be posted for two months or until the position is filled.

Make a Difference Day nonprofit applications are now open!

Santa Clarita Valley nonprofits are invited to submit projects that could benefit from volunteer support during this national day of service on Saturday, October 24. Hundreds of volunteers will come together across the City to make a positive impact in the community.

From deep cleaning facilities to caring for animals, volunteers are ready to help make a difference! Below is a list of past projects:

• Sorting donations at the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry
• Caring for animals at SRD Straightening Reins
• Loading event equipment for American Cancer Society
• Repainting the offices at Bridge to Home
• Organizing art supplies at Million Little
• Creating decorations used at Avenues Supported Living Services’ holiday event
• Deep cleaning at the Salvation Army facility
• Assembling furniture to refresh the Boys and Girls Club teen room
