Volunteers were a huge help at the Family Literacy Festival! They assisted library staff at the booths, guided staff in costumes as they walked around the festival, and helped with event set-up and clean-up. One volunteer even helped with the Makerspace program where she learned how to make the craft, learn the software, and teach patrons in no time. The event’s success as, in large part, due to these volunteers!
