Over 50 junior high students from different schools spent a Sunday morning in April helping clean shelves and workstations, and organizing books and materials at the three libraries. These Tween Clean-Up Days were designed to give junior high kids a community service opportunity that teaches them how to follow instructions, pay attention to details, focus on assigned tasks, and work independently and as part of a team while giving back to the community. It also exposes them to the wealth of resources that our libraries offer.
